About Me – Sakura Creations  

Hi, I’m Kelsey—the creator behind Sakura Creations! 

 Sakura Creations began in 2012 when I first taught myself how to crochet. What started with simple hats and blankets quickly grew into something more, especially when I became pregnant with my daughter and began making baby clothes. As people started requesting custom pieces, I realized I could turn what I loved into something I could share—and Sakura Creations was born.  I’ve always loved a challenge and truly believe I can crochet just about anything you can imagine. But more than that, I love creating for others. There’s nothing better than seeing someone’s reaction when they receive something made just for them—especially when it turns out exactly how they envisioned it.  Over time, my creativity has continued to evolve. Fast forward to today, and while crochet will always be where I started, I’ve expanded my focus into beaded items and custom creations made with my Cricut Maker 3. As trends change, I’ve embraced new ways to grow while staying true to my passion for handmade, meaningful pieces.  One of the most special parts of this journey is that my daughter—who inspired so much of it in the beginning—now helps me from time to time, making this dream even more meaningful.  Sakura Creations is more than just a business to me. It’s something I truly love. I don’t see this as a job—it’s my passion, my creative outlet, and what I feel I’m meant to do.  While I continue to grow and challenge myself with new ideas, I’m also working toward my dream of one day opening my own storefront.  Thank you for being here and supporting my journey—it truly means everything.
